The Department of status definition being a structural unit of the Central Office of the the State committee for refugee and IDP issues, carries out the following functions.
Since January 1, 2005 the department of status definition has been included in the structure of the Central Office of the State Committee for refugee and IDP issues, preserving the name "department" mehind it according to the Order of the Ministry of the Republicof Azerbaijan no.5 of January 8, 2005 connected with the execution of the item 3.5 of “the State program on improvement of living conditions of the refugees and forced migrants and decrease of unemployment", approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan no.298 dated July 1, 2004
