In order to strengthen the social security of internally displaces person I hereby decide:

Additions to the “State Program on improvement of living conditions and increasing employment refugees and internally displaced persons”, approved by Decree 298 of the 1st of July, 2004 issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

“State Program on improvement of living conditions and employment rehabilitation of refugees and internally displaced persons”, confirmed by Decree 298 of the 1st of July, 2004 issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Supplements made to that State Program by his Decree 2475 of the 31st of October, 2007 are implemented successfully.

In the framework of the State Programme on Improvement of Living Conditions of internally displaced people and Increasing their Employment, there have been constructed 63 new settlements for IDP families in different cities and regions of the country, close to 100 thousand such people have been moved to new houses, more than 150 educational, about 50 medical, tens of communication facilities and cultural points have been given to use, as well as appropriate infrastructure has been established. Currently, measures in the direction of the solution of social problems of IDPs and improvement of their living conditions are ongoing.

The State Programme on Improvement of Living Conditions of Refugees and IDPs and Increasing their Employment is successfully implemented. There have been constructed 61 new settlements for refugee and IDP families in different cities and regions of the country, more than 150 educational, about 50 medical, more than 30 communication facilities, and tens of cultural points have been constructed and given to use, as well as appropriate infrastructure has been established. Currently, measures in the direction of the solution of social problems of IDPs and improvement of their living conditions are ongoing systematically.
