A discussion regarding the implementation of future projects was held between the government of Azerbaijan and OSCE Project Coordinator

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov met with OSCE Project Coordinator in Baku Alexis Chahtahtinsky. The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov expressed his gratitude to the visitor who came to the meeting for the first time after the appointment to this position in Azerbaijan and for the projects implemented in our country with different state organizations by OSCE and described this as an example of good cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and the Organization. The Deputy Prime Minister gave information about the history of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the situation of refugees and internally displaced persons in the country. During the meeting Ali Hasanov also reported about the problems of our compatriots displaced from their native lands as a result of this conflict, comprehensive care for them by the government according to the relevant orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and noted that 86 modern settlements with all social and technical infrastructures were built by our state in order to improve the social and living conditions of our compatriots of this category, 42 thousand families – our compatriots more than 210 thousand were relocated to these settlements. Now the processes are being continued in this area. Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov and Alexis Chahtahtinsky exchanged views about the implementation of future projects between the government of Azerbaijan and OSCE Project Coordinator. Along with it, holding of the other meetings about the intensification of struggle against drug smuggling is planned.
