Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov met with the public representatives of Zangilan, Gubadli and Shusha regions

On January 29, The Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov met with the public representatives of Zangilan, Gubadli and Shusha regions. Ali Hasanov stated that this meeting was organized according to the instructions of the President. He spoke about the duties put forward in the consultations held under the chairmanship of The President Ilham Aliyev and the works done for the implementation of them. Pointing out the political and economical crises in the world in recent years Deputy Prime Minister stated that, there was no progress in the resolution of current conflicts in the last year and on the contrary the new conflict zones were arisen and the numbers of the refugees and migrants increased. Ali Hasanov mentioned that, “This conflict in the world was started since 2008. Let’s pay attention that, this successful policy determined by the President Ilham Aliyev preserved Azerbaijan from the crisis for seven years. During this period, all the necessary measures were taken and Azerbaijan remained outside of the crisis and as well as developed rapidly. Talking about the attention and care for the internally displaced persons by the President Ilham Aliyev, Ali Hasanov emphasized that, residential complexes consisting of 89 modern settlements and high-rise buildings having all the social and technical infrastructure in more than 30 cities and regions of the Republic for the refugees and internally displaced persons were built. 150 secondary schools, 7 music and art schools, 1 cultural palace, 50 cultural centers, 59 kindergartens, 58 medical centres and 2 Olympic sport complexes were built in these residential areas. Housing and living conditions of the families of 49 thousand refugees and internally displaced persons were improved up to now. It was stated that, the President Ilham Aliyev regularly meet with the internally displaced persons and is dealing with their problems. Our President held 30 meetings with the internally displaced persons in the newly built residential settlements in the years of 2004-2015. This tradition was also continued in 2015. Ali Hasanov stated that our President has also set the serious tasks in front of the officials. State officials should be more careful in dealing with citizens and should provide assistance to solve their problems under the law. Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the crisis will not damage the population as a result of the preventive measures done in the all areas and stated that: “We only should deal with these issues put in front of us-public officials by the President Ilham Aliyev in order to prevent our citizens suffering from the fact and to settle their problems. All the steps taken serve the further improvement of people's welfare. Today there is a unity between the people and the state in Azerbaijan.” Highlighting that the failure of the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Garabagh conflict serves the interests of some forces, Ali Hasanov mentioned that the only hope for the settlement of this problem of Azerbaijani people and as well as the internally displaced persons is the President Ilham Aliyev. Emphasizing the fact that the failure of resolution of number one problem of our country Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Garabakh conflict serves to the interests of some forces, A.Hasanov stated that we should rely on ourselves and our own strength and the only hope for the resolution of the problem of Azerbaijani people as well as internally displaced persons is the President of every Azerbaijani Mr. Ilham Aliyev! Deputy Prime Minister noted that Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) demonstrated that it is in the position of double standards once again while the important resolution exposing the aggressive policy of Armenia in these days was discussed in PACE winter session in Strasbourg. With this manner it is considered that PACE go against its decisions adopted on the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by the Armenia as well as the UN resolutions, decisions and resolutions of European Parliament and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Of course, the inactivity of OSCE Minsk Group also manifested itself here. In addition, OSCE Minsk Group didn’t exert any pressure on the aggressors for the fair solution of the conflict. Deputy of the National Assembly Flora Gasimova made a speech and talked about the attention and care rendered for the internally displaced persons. She stated that, the settlement of social problems of the refugees and internally displaced persons in the last 12 years was one of the priorities of state policy. Making speech IDP from Shusha region Mahammad Hajiyev, IDP from Gubadli region Tarana Shahmuradova, IDP from Fuzuli region Natig Suleymanzade and others expressed their satisfaction about the improvement of the social status of the population by President of Azerbaijan Republic and other anti-crisis measures in spite of the global financial crisis. Deputy Prime Minister was interested in the problems of internally displaced persons from Zangilan, Gubadli and Shusha regions and answered their questions.
