Azerbaijani Deputy PM meets with President of Fuji Optical Company
Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs Ali Hasanov has received President of the Japanese Fuji Optical Company, prominent Japanese scientist, winner of the prestigious Nansen Refugee Award, Dr. Akio Kanai. Ali Hasanov praised the humanitarian accomplishments of the Fuji Optical Company in Azerbaijan and personal efforts of Dr. Kanai since 2005. "More than 2 million USD has been spent by Fuji Optical to accomplish its humanitarian activity in Azerbaijan over the last 12 years," Mr Hasanov said.
A meeting was held with the head of the representative office of UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Azerbaijan
Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of the Refugees and IDPs, Chairman of the Republican Commission on International Humanitarian Aid Ali Hasanov met with the head of the representative office of UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Azerbaijan Dag Sigurdson on his request on May 21.

The chairman of the State Committee on Deals for the Refugees and IDPs also reviewed the monument “Maragha-150” in village Shikharkh of Tartar which a large part destroyed by the Armenians. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals for the Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov visited the settlement Zobujug built ten years ago during his visit to Fuzuli, met with the IDPs here and exchanged views with them. During the meeting, the residents of the settlement said that they don’t have any problems and they have expressed their deepest gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for building the settlements having the entire social and technical infrastructure in such a territory with clean air, water and food.
Azerbaijani Deputy PM visits frontline regions
Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov has visited Fuzuli, Aghdam and Tartar regions.
In Fuzuli region, Ali Hasanov viewed the construction of a newly-built settlement for IDPs.
